Leash training.

Start slow.

Week 1 - put harness on them and leave it on around the house.

Week 2 - still leave harness on inside but add a leash when you are around for a little.  (10-15) min at a time.  Allow cat to move around but don’t get up.  Once they get to end of leash they will have to turn around on their own.

Week 3 - bring outside around house again just sit outside allow them to walk around.

Week 4 - start to walk with them.  They will follow you around.  Don’t allow them to walk wherever they want.

Consistency is key.  Try taking them out a couple times a week for a short walk.

Eventually when you put harness on them, they will know it’s adventure time.

We are a dedicated team committed to crafting exceptional experiences. Our focus lies in providing reliable and innovative solutions, driven by a deep respect for quality and a genuine desire to exceed expectations.

Why keep your cat inside except when on leash?

We pride ourselves on our adaptability and commitment to excellence in every aspect of our service. Explore what we have to say and how we can help contribute to your success.

All our kittens must be going to homes where they will be indoor cats, unless out on a leash or walking with harness.

What are they missing out on by doing this?

Getting into fights with other cats

Getting into something poisonous

Getting hit by a car

Getting abused by someone who does not like cats

Getting attacked by a wild animal

Those are just a few of the many reasons to keep your cat indoors if not on a leash.

If you need help with leash training, please reach out on the contact us form.  We will be happy to help you through it.  All 3 of our cats enjoy going for walks.   If your cat does not like the leash there are other ways to bring them with you outdoors.

Backpack

Front carrier

Cat Catio

Pet Stroller

Those are the most common ways to take your cat outside for some fresh air.
